CURRICULUM

The school is recognized by the Government of Telangana and the education culminates with the SSC board exams for the students of X std within the broad framework provided by the state board. Dwaraka uses innovative and effective methods of instruction such as the use of digi boards and multimedia in all the classrooms. The curriculum is reviewed regularly and is kept up-to-date with the changing world and student’s needs. Play School

Dwaraka provides the place where every child will feel comfortable, be taken good care of and be introduced to the sounds, sights and smell of new things. Under experienced teachers, not only will your young one learn the alphabets and numbers, but be given an opportunity to explore and develop the qualities inherent in him/her.

The equipment provided is aligned with the curriculum and is perfectly safe for the children. Our equipment, toys and teaching aids are selected keeping in mind a child’s need to touch, explore, learn and enjoy.

Five Broad Areas of Learning

 

For our tiny tots there are six broad areas of learning which are:

Every child will learn to be self confident and made to enhance their Personal, social and emotional development.

Communication, Language and Literacy

Every child will learn to talk confidently and clearly, enjoying stories, songs and poems, hearing and saying sounds and linking them to the alphabet.

Mathematical development

Every child will develop an understanding of mathematics through stories, songs, games and imaginative play. They will become comfortable with numbers and with ideas such as ‘heavier than’ and ‘bigger’. They will be aware of shape and space.

Knowledge and understanding of the world

Every child will explore and find out about the world around them. Know about everyday technology and learn what it is used for.

Physical development

Every child will learn to move confidently controlling body movement and handling equipment.

Creative development

Every child will explore colours and shapes, trying out dance, making things, telling stories and making music.

All of this is done through play and by using less formal teaching methods.
